The education aspect plays a vital part in the work of APAC. We are aware of the need for a good arts education early in life as it can be instrumental in the refinement and enrichment of the human spirit. On the other hand, we realize that because we live in a multi-ethnic culture and conflictive society with special characteristics, needs, and tensions, the arts can play a very important role in the in the process of education and integration.
We also believe that all people deserve the opportunity to achieve their fullest creative potential regardless of their financial, social, and cultural background or status. That is why our Inreach program is design to reach the underprivileged children and young adults that come from socially, economically, and culturally conflictive situations. It is one of our goals to expose them to artistic education and cultural events otherwise not accessible to them.
Our classes are aimed at children between the ages of 3 to 12 and young adults between the ages of 13 to 18. Classes will focus on dance, theatre, music and painting. Special Workshops will also be scheduled regularly for those wishing to concentrate on a specific artistic discipline--a perfect solution for artists too busy to commit to a weekly class.
We also offer special Master classes for professionals and people with experience on dance and theatre.
Camps
Our camps are aimed at children and young adults who want to be introduced to the world of dance, theatre, music, and painting. You’ll experience exciting different aspects of the entertainment world from acting, dancing, singing, stage combat, etc.
Updates and schedules for both classes and camps will be posted soon, so continue to check our website for information.
