...an acting space in which the actual performance can take place in front of an audience, is one of the most important aspects in the history of the theatre from the Theatron of the Greeks, the cavea of the Romans, the mansions and platforms of the early Renaissance, the proscenium theatres of the later Renaissance in Europe, to the modern quest for theatre space--in which the avant-garde tried to find almost anywhere from streets to public places; anywhere the performance could take place before an attentive audience.

In our case we want it to be a place where audience and performers can come together to experience a unique theatrical event. We will have theatre and dance performances, music recitals, art exhibitions and learning and training in the different artistic disciplines. But above all, it will be a place to celebrate the gift of creativity given to us and a common ground for relationship, debate, discussion and interaction.

Our four areas of focus are:

   Theatre, with our resident Aslan Theatre Troup.
   Dance, with our resident Aslan Dance Company.
   Music: setting up and organizing concerts, recitals and festivals.
   The Fine Arts: organizing art exhibitions, conferences, classes.
