Recruiting...

We’re currently looking for:

One dancer-choreographer.
One dancer/instructor, who will be responsible for the dance education program.
Three dancers.
One stage manager.
One PR and fund raiser.
One person for administration and office work.
One costume designer and tailor.
One technical director.
Four actors.
One music teacher and instructor.
One art teacher and instructor.
One sound and light tech and operator.
A couple with some artistic background and a heart to disciple artists and other "weird" people.

Spanish will be required in some cases depending on what you’ll be doing, though we will be offering classes to those who will be joining us. The actors and teachers will have to have at least an intermediate level command of the language. The rest will just need to be willing to make learning Spanish a priority during their first months with us.

Requirements

A personal commitment and relationship with God
A commitment to discipleship
Real love and compassion for people
Commitment to friendship evangelism
Willingness to be part of a community minded working environment
Interest in Spain and a desire to know and understand the culture
Love and passion for the arts: theatre, dance, music and painting
To understand and be committed to the vision

You will have to send us:
-A resume/CV, including education, training, experience, as well as your main area of interest.
-A short history of your conversion.
-References from two people one of them being a spiritual leader and the other a teacher/ instructor who would be able to assess your ability in your particular artistic gifting.
-A short explanation of reasons why you would like to be part of our work.
-Where possible we would like to be able to set up an interview/audition if you're a dancer or actor.
-Your feedback on the section: Our philosophy and the nature of our work which includes points 1 through to 8.

Specific information you need to know:
More than an organization we consider ourselves a living organism, although we have to be practical in our approach to the work to keep it going in a business-like manner.
A community of people different and diverse in our make up but with the same vision, commitment, calling and desire to be servants to the work and, above all, to the One who has actually endowed us with the great gift of creativity.

All actors, dancers and artists will also be deployed in production and administrative capacities, working part time in teaching, design, publicity, props, sound, lighting, costumes, accounting and office work.

Although we want to be able to get enough money to pay salaries to all who work with us, and this is our aim in the future; we are not in a position to do that right now. So for the first three phases of our project most of the people coming to work with us would need to raise their own support, as all of us have to do. It’s our prayer and our hope that by the end of the third phase we’ll be able to be financially self-sustaining and paying salaries.

You will need around $1,400 a month which will cover housing, transport, food, pocket money, health insurance (which we will help you get when you get here since it is actually cheaper than getting it in the States).

-We will be assisting everybody with finding accommodation and you will be sharing apartments with people from our staff.

-We will also be offering Spanish classes.

Visas: You will be able to be in the country for three months with a tourist visa and then we have to work on getting an extension for the period you will be with us. We are still working on this and need to get all the information we need from immigration so we can pass it on to you.

For the first two phases of our project we need people to be committed for at least one year.
